Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Car Delivery Driver for our New Haven store at 240 College St, New Haven CT 06510. You’ll deliver cookies, milk and ice cream to fans with friendly, high-quality service, using the company delivery app and staying within a 2-mile radius where possible.

We offer flexible part-time schedules, paid time off, and perks like pay on demand and free cookies with every shift. Must have own car, valid license, registration and insurance, and be 18+.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and organization.
• Knowledge of the 2-mile radius around the store.
• Must have own car, license, valid registration and insurance.
• Must pass a motor vehicles background check.
• Must have a smartphone with data plan.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver cookies, milk and ice cream to our fans in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in-person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.

As a Car Delivery Driver at our New Haven store located at 240 College St, New Haven CT 06510, you are our “Boots on the ground!”, and the main face that our Insomniacs see outside of the bakery! You give the word “Delivery” a whole new meaning by delivering the Cookie Magic to our fans wherever they are.

WHAT WILL I DO AS A DELIVERY DRIVER?

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fanbase, in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of the 2-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus!
