Job summary
Insomnia Cookies in Austin, TX is hiring Delivery Drivers to bring warm cookies and treats to fans late into the night. You are the friendly face on the road and in-store, delivering with care and speed.
Split between the bakery and the road, you will check orders, use our delivery app, and provide great customer service. Availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements.
- Current auto insurance that meets state minimum requirements.
- Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications.
- Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Deliver cookies, milk, and ice cream to customers on time.
- Check orders for quality and accuracy before delivery.
- Provide friendly customer service in-person or by phone.
- Use the delivery app to update customers and follow company standards.
- Deliver orders safely, accurately, and with a smile.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices.
- Welcome guests in the bakery and provide friendly service between deliveries.
- Assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing delivery and pickup orders.
- Help bake and package cookies and other treats as needed.
- Operate the register and process guest transactions.
- Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe.
- Work closely with your bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately.

Insomnia Cookies is one of the fastest growing, late-night, sweet indulgence companies in the country, and at the present time, we are actively interviewing Delivery Drivers for our UT Austin store located at 2323 San Antonio St, Austin TX 78705! As a Delivery Driver, you are our “Boots on the ground!”, and the main face that our Insomniacs see outside of the bakery! - Compensation: Guaranteed $11.00/hr minimum – up to $15.50/hr in earnings

- Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fan base, in a timely and safe fashion.
- Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone.

As a Cookie Crew Delivery Driver, you'll deliver more than cookies—you'll deliver the moments people remember. Whether it's a late-night study break, birthday surprise, office celebration, or just someone's well-deserved treat, you'll be the friendly face bringing a little happiness right to their door.
When you're not out making deliveries, you'll be part of the bakery team—helping prepare orders, welcoming guests, and keeping the bakery running smoothly. Every shift is different, but one thing never changes: our commitment to delivering warm cookies and exceptional hospitality.

- Drive safely for extended periods throughout a shift.
- Frequently enter and exit a vehicle.
- Stand and walk for extended periods while working inside the bakery.
- Lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products.
- Work in varying weather conditions while making deliveries.
- Work around ovens, refrigeration equipment, and moderate bakery noise levels.
- Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.
You’ll split your time between our bakery and the road. Inside the bakery, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment with ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. Outside the bakery, you’ll drive in varying weather and traffic conditions while following all safety policies and traffic laws.
Our busiest times are evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Delivery Drivers should have availability during these peak business hours. Scheduling needs vary by location.
$11 - $15.50 an hour
