Job summary

Global Crossing Airlines seeks highly qualified Captains to lead safe and timely flight operations and to foster a one-crew culture emphasizing safety, teamwork, and customer trust.

Candidates must hold FAA credentials, a First Class Medical, an FCC Radiotelephone permit, and meet FAR 121.436. A minimum of 4,000 total flight hours with jet PIC time under 121 or 135 is required, and Airbus 320 type rating is preferred.

Qualifications

• FAA Airmen Certificate required.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate required.
• FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s permit required.
• Airbus 320 Type rating preferred.
• Must meet FAR 121.436 requirements.
• Minimum 4000 hours total time.
• 1000 Jet hours PIC under 121 or 1500 Jet hours PIC under 135.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Passport must be valid and travel unrestricted.
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and safety of crew and passengers.
• Maintain airworthiness, consider weather factors, flight regulations and ATC procedures.
• Utilize tools and aids to maximize safety in air and on ground.
• Demonstrate safety ownership in all responsibilities and behavior for each flight.
