Job summary

General Dynamics Corporation's Gulfstream Flight Operations seeks a professional pilot to act as crew within Gulfstream Flight Operations. The role requires 5 years of flight experience, 1500 total hours (or 1000 PIC on turbine aircraft), and an ATPL upon hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate Gulfstream aircraft domestically and internationally (when qualified) in support of ACS, corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstrations, maintenance, production test, and other functions as assigned.
• Possess broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations.
• Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate effective support of Gulfstream and our Customers.
• Coordinate and execute ancillary responsibilities as needed.
• Adhere to Gulfstream corporate policies and Flight Operations Manual policies and procedures.
• Coordinate assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• In accordance with Gulfstream Flight Operations FOM/SOP, as crew, domestically and internationally (when qualified), operate Gulfstream aircraft in support of Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, Gulfstream maintenance, production test, and any other functions as assigned .
• Must possess a broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations .
• Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate effective support of Gulfstream and our Customers .
• Manage and execute any assigned ancillary responsibilities .
• Adhere to Gulfstream corporate policies, department Flight Operations Manual (FOM) policies and procedures .
• Effectively coordinate the assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations as needed .

Additional Functions

• Proactively assist Gulfstream Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activity .
• Manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities .
• Strive to be a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics .
