Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah seeks a Captain for Flight Operations to lead Gulfstream aircraft missions worldwide. You will act as crew, ensuring safe, efficient flight operations in ACS, corporate transport, and demonstrations.

Q2 responsibilities include coordinating with Maintenance and Technical Ops and upholding flight policies. Required are 5 years pilot experience, 1500 total hours or 1000 PIC turbine hours, ATPL upon hire, and a First Class FAA Medical Certificate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required to perform essential functions.
• 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry required.
• 1500 hours total flight time, or 1000 hours PIC of turbine powered aircraft.
• Gulfstream type rating preferred.
• ATPL required upon hire.
• First Class FAA Medical Certificate required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate Gulfstream aircraft domestically and internationally (when qualified) to support ACS, corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstrations, maintenance, and production/test.
• Maintain broad knowledge of flight operations and reference Flight Operations Manual.
• Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate effective support for Gulfstream and customers.
• Manage and execute assigned ancillary responsibilities.
• Coordinate assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations.
• Assist Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activity.
• Ensure safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities.
• Act as a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics.

Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:

• In accordance with Gulfstream Flight Operations FOM/SOP, as crew, domestically and internationally (when qualified), operate Gulfstream aircraft in support of Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, Gulfstream maintenance, production test, and any other functions as assigned .
• Must possess a broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations .
• Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate effective support of Gulfstream and our Customers .
• Manage and execute any assigned ancillary responsibilities .
• Adhere to Gulfstream corporate policies, department Flight Operations Manual (FOM) policies and procedures .
• Effectively coordinate the assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations as needed .
  

Additional Functions:

• Proactively assist Gulfstream Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activity .
• Manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities .
