Job summary

Capstone Partners in Boston, MA seeks a Market Intelligence Intern to assist in researching and producing outbound market intelligence content. The intern will track M&A activity across sectors and support senior team members with research and writing.

You will copy edit reports, help with lead generation rotations, and gain exposure to Capital IQ, FactSet and PitchBook while developing financial writing skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree, preferably Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or English.
• Attention to detail is essential and intellectual curiosity is valued.

This individual will provide support to Capstone’s Market Intelligence team, tracking merger and acquisition (M&A) activity across a variety of sectors to be utilized by senior team members in research report production. The reports are essential to Capstone’s business development and brand recognition and are used by thousands of business owners, alliance partners, private equity groups, and news outlets as a valuable source of M&A information.The Intern’s core responsibility will be to work closely with the firm’s Market Intelligence team to collect and analyze M&A, public, and private equity data for reports. Additional responsibilities include copy editing team content and assisting senior members of the team with research projects and research content creation.
