Job summary

Architect of the Capitol is seeking a Director/Assistant Director level candidate for the Utilities and Power Plant Operations (CPP) to oversee the rotating Operations Branches A–D. The CPP provides steam for heating and chilled water for air conditioning across the Capitol complex, including the Capitol, House of Representatives, and Senate.

The role emphasizes supervision of power plant operations and meeting licensing requirements, including EPA Universal Certification within the first year

Qualifications

• Must meet eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.
• Required licenses include NIUPLE First Class Power Engineer License; District of Columbia Class 1 Steam Engineer License; State issued Stationary Engineer License; United States Coast Guard Marine Engineer License.

Responsibilities
