Qualifications

• Eight years of experience or training; or the equivalent combination.
• Master Plumber’s license required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Plans plumbing installations and repairs for state buildings.
• Assists other trade areas as needed.
• Reads diagrams and blueprints to guide work.
• Assembles and installs valves, pipes and fixtures.
• Repairs burst pipes and unclogs drains.
• Monitors operation of installed systems to detect hazards and needed adjustments.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
