Clariant Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to drive capital projects across North America, coordinating engineering, procurement, operations, and external partners. The role emphasizes safety, timelines, budgets, and regulatory compliance within a hybrid work model.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in CAPEX project management within chemical process manufacturing and is comfortable traveling 30–50% of the time to NORAM sites."

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Chemical or Mechanical preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional project management experience.
• Experience leading CAPEX projects in a chemical process manufacturing environment.
• Ability to travel approximately 30-50% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute capital projects across NORAM manufacturing sites from concept through completion, safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage multiple CAPEX projects simultaneously, typically $1MM to $50MM+, including scope, budget, schedule, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and CARs.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, operations, and contractors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive project execution and resolve issues.
• Support feasibility studies, equipment selection, vendor assessments, and factory acceptance testing.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, permits, regulatory requirements, and EH&S standards.
• Lead process risk analyses and promote safe work practices across the project lifecycle.
• Provide project reporting and KPI tracking through completion and start-up.
