Job summary

Henkel offers an internship program focusing on engineering disciplines, with opportunities to participate in design, procurement, and field execution of large capital projects. The internship runs May 24th–August 13th and includes housing stipend or relocation support, plus access to Henkel’s learning platform and networking events.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with graduation in 2027 or 2028.
• Ability to read and modify P&ID diagrams.
• Experience conducting risk assessments through coursework or internships.
• Familiarity with instrumentation and controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in design and execution phases of large capital projects.
• Participate in specification, procurement, and installation of equipment as part of the project team.
• Communicate with suppliers to quote and purchase equipment aligned with project needs.
• Join risk assessments and design meetings to support planning and safety.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities at the plant site.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
