Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Project Engineer to identify, design, and complete capital projects to maintain, improve, or expand plant infrastructure. The role supports new developmental projects and collaborates with plant staff, the Management Team, and Process Engineer.

Responsibilities include budgeting, training on new technologies, and ongoing process improvements. Strong communication, ownership, and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 5-10 years process/project experience in the chemical process industry.
• Experience developing and managing capital projects and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design and complete capital infrastructure projects.
• Develops and manages capital project budgets and implementation.
• Program and troubleshoot plant controls.
• Design and implement process automation projects as needed.
• Provide engineering support including development and maintenance of standards.
• Support EHS policies and drive regulatory compliance.
