Job summary

International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) is hiring to lead capital projects strengthening the food ingredients manufacturing operations. Based in New Century, KS (onsite), you will deliver site capital solutions, working with leadership and crossfunctional partners to translate business needs into execution.

You will manage minor capital programs up to $5M, coordinate with operations, safety, and procurement, and ensure handover and closure of projects with strong safety and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process/Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Food Technology, BioTech) or equivalent technical experience.
• 2+ years of experience executing capital projects in food, chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of engineering fundamentals, industry codes, and manufacturing systems.
• Experience with project management fundamentals including scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, utilities, equipment, DCS systems, and MOC.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently in a site environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across crossfunctional and external teams.
• Comfort working in a hands-on, onsite manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end execution of site minor capital programs up to $5M portfolio value.
• Execute projects from inception through handover, ensuring compliance with engineering and safety processes.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, technology, safety, quality, and procurement.
• Drive design development, constructability, and safety in design across all phases.
• Maintain control of cost, schedule, and performance with forecasting and monthly reporting.
• Manage internal resources and external engineering/construction partners to meet scope and quality.
• Support readiness to operate, commissioning, and closeout activities including financial closure.
• Contribute to site capital planning and project prioritization.

You will play a critical role in delivering site capital projects that support safe, efficient, and reliable food ingredients manufacturing operations.
