Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Capital Project Engineer to plan, support, and execute capital project engineering deliverables for the facility in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The role focuses on small- to medium-sized projects from design through startup, overseeing construction management and documentation.

The engineer will apply engineering standards and provide guidance within the scope of projects. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2+ years in capital project

• Experience in chemical or food-related industries.
• Experience with commissioning and project start-ups.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of capital project scope, schedule and budget while following project management deliverables and best practices.
• Coordinate staffing and development of construction, commissioning and start-up plans.
• Lead equipment specification and procurement and develop, review and award bid packages for equipment and labor.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

In this role, you will be primarily focused on small- to medium-sized capital projects from design to startup, while overseeing construction management and documentation. We seek a professional who will actively apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering scope.
