Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Capital Project Engineer to plan, support, and execute capital projects from design through startup at our Oskaloosa facility. You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets while applying engineering standards and procedures.

Responsibilities include leading equipment specification, procurement, and bid packages, coordinating construction, commissioning and start-up plans, and solving moderately complex issues with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in capital project engineering.
• Previous experience in chemical or food-related industries.
• Experience with commissioning and project start-ups.

• Coordinate staffing and development of construction, commissioning and start-up plans.

Job Summary of the Capital Project Engineer: The Capital Project Engineer will plan, support, and execute capital project engineering deliverables for the company's facility. In this role, you will be primarily focused on small- to medium-sized capital projects from design to startup, while overseeing construction management and documentation. We seek a professional who will actively apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering scope.
