Job summary

The City of Bothell is seeking a Capital Project Engineer to manage capital projects from design through construction and to help develop a thriving, diverse community.

You will lead collaboration with private consultants, develop project objectives, work scope, cost estimates, and schedules, and review engineering design and analyses to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Job description

The City is looking for an effective, organized, and team‑oriented professional Capital Project Engineer to manage capital projects from design through construction and play a major role in the development of a thriving, diverse community.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the design, development, and completion of public works capital projects by working and collaborating with private consultants.
  • Manage construction projects including the design, construction, engineering, right‑of‑way, utilities, and roadway.
  • Develop project objectives, work scope, cost estimates, and schedules.
  • Review and facilitate the review of engineering design and analysis.
