Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in financial markets and monetary policy including the ability to discuss the basic functions of the Federal Reserve.
• Full-time workplace experience handling and manipulating complex data sets.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (can perform complex functions).
• Familiarity with data analysis or visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI, SQL, Python, R, and/or Bloomberg.
• Familiarity with AI capabilities and productivity tools which could be leveraged to optimize operational and analytical processes and products.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and build datasets and tools that support monetary policy operations and fiscal agent activities; develop understanding of data sources like TRACE.
• Integrate data sources and generate analysis; create dashboards or visualizations to support daily activities.
• Support planning and execution of monetary policy operations and/or fiscal agent transactions; analyze market developments in relation to policy.
• Assist senior staff with ad-hoc policy, operations, market analysis and data analysis projects.
