Job summary

Hyundai Capital America in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manager, Capital Markets to lead structured finance transactions, market analysis, reporting, compliance, investor engagement, and team oversight. This role supports auto-related securitizations and collateral analysis to optimize issuance.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in capital markets or securitization, a bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, and proven leadership abilities to mentor analysts. Hybrid in-office schedule offered.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in capital markets, structured finance, securitization, or investment banking.
• Minimum 1 year of managing, training, developing, and mentoring direct reports.
• Strong collateral analysis, forecasting, and funding evaluation skills.
• Knowledge of rates, spreads, investor demand, and funding markets.
• ABS or conduit facility experience; auto asset class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ABS execution, including structuring, materials, modeling, pricing, and closing.
• Manage internal teams, underwriters, rating agencies, trustees, and other parties.
• Analyze collateral, cash flows, and structures to support issuance.
• Monitor ABS markets, rates, spreads, and investor demand.
• Evaluate funding costs, collateral performance, capacity, and structures.
• Track auto finance trends and performance metrics.
• Partner with the Treasury Data Team to maintain accurate servicer reporting.
• Escalate reporting, compliance, or data integrity issues for timely resolution.
• Lead and develop team members while supporting the Senior Manager and Director.

What You Will Do

The Manager, Capital Markets, supports auto-related structured finance transactions, market analysis, reporting, compliance, investor engagement, team oversight while collaborating with the Senior Manager and Director.

Structured Finance Transaction Execution:

• Coordinate ABS execution, including structuring, materials, modeling, pricing, and closing.
• Manage internal teams, underwriters, rating agencies, trustees, and other parties.
• Analyze collateral, cash flows, and structures to support issuance.

Market Analysis:

• Monitor ABS markets, rates, spreads, and investor demand.
• Evaluate funding costs, collateral performance, capacity, and structures.
• Track auto finance trends and performance metrics.
• Support investor outreach, materials, and meetings.

Reporting, Compliance & Program Administration:

• Partner with the Treasury Data Team to maintain accurate, complete servicer reporting for ABS transactions and warehouse facilities.
• Monitor covenant compliance, manage due diligence requests, and support annual program audits.
• Coordinate reporting deliverables for investors, executives, lenders, rating agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Escalate reporting, compliance, or data integrity issues for timely resolution while identifying opportunities to improve reporting and securitization workflows.
• Lead and develop team members while supporting the Senior Manager and Director.

What You Will Bring

• 5-7 years in capital markets, structured finance, securitization, or investment banking.
• Minimum 1 year of managing, training, developing, and mentoring direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong collateral analysis, forecasting, and funding evaluation skills.
• Knowledge of rates, spreads, investor demand, and funding markets.

• Consumer lending, auto finance, captive finance, or financial services experience preferred.
