Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Business Analyst / Project Manager (GMI Migration) in London, hybrid with 2-3 days in the office. The role focuses on decommissioning a legacy GMI platform and migrating to a next-gen target architecture within Global Markets Technology & Operations for a Financial Services client.

You will bridge Clearing Operations, Tech, Front Office and Finance; manage data flows, business rules, and mapping for the target platform. Strong BA/PM, SQL, and Agile skills are required.

Qualifications

• BA/PM with experience in Tier-1 banks, Prime Services, CCPs, or top-tier consultancies.
• Experience with Global Markets interfaces and CDS/IG clearing platforms.
• Delivery of data migration, transformation and platform migration in capital markets.
• Knowledge of OTC derivatives, F&O lifecycle, reference data and market operations.
• Understanding of GL and financial accounting processes.
• Ability to map legacy to target data structures and design to-be data flows.
• Advanced SQL skills for data profiling and validation.
• Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence) and BPMN.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and target-state design for cleared derivatives platforms.
• Perform data profiling, mapping, and ensure data quality across legacy and target systems.
• Drive migration readiness including test design, reconciliation, UAT support and parallel runs.
• Collaborate with business, technology, operations and vendors to deliver complex transformations.
• Apply RAID tracking, test/defect management and stakeholder management.
