Job summary

Base is deploying its own assets at an unparalleled pace and scale, financing billions of dollars of assets through debt, tax equity, and project equity. This role sits in the team that raises money, providing a front-row seat on live transactions from day one, including diligence, deal structuring, and direct interaction with lenders and investors.

You will build models for debt sizing, waterfalls, and returns; own the end-to-end diligence process; help design capital stacks and negotiate

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in investment banking, infrastructure investing, project finance, or tax equity.
• Financial modeling skills sharp enough to build and defend models under real diligence pressure.
• Working knowledge of debt, tax equity structures, working capital facilities, bonds or private placements.
• Comfort reading and interpreting financing agreements, credit agreements, and partnership documents.
• Ability to run diligence and documentation across multiple live deals without dropping the ball.
• Strong communication with institutional investors, lenders, and Base leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build models for debt sizing, tax equity waterfalls, unit economics, and project equity returns across live capital raises.
• Own the end-to-end diligence process: data room, coordination, and responding to lenders and investors.
• Help structure and negotiate terms: capital stack design, risk allocation, and debt/tax equity tradeoffs.
• Build tools and infrastructure to run debt, tax equity, and equity processes efficiently.
• Maintain/Base’s brand in capital markets with polished materials and timely responses.
• Help shape capital strategy for future financings and sequencing of structures.
