Job summary

National Life Group in Addison, TX, seeks an Associate Analyst, Capital Management to support capital forecasting, regulatory reporting, and analyses. You’ll run models, validate quarterly results, and prepare materials for leadership decision-making.

The role is onsite four days a week, with core days Mon–Thu. You’ll collaborate with internal partners, manage deadlines, and apply sound judgment to capital outputs and related financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a similar quantitative field.
• 3+ years of related experience in finance, actuarial, capital management, or risk analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Run the Capital Forecasting Model quarterly and as needed, including population, error checks, and preparing materials.
• Improve capital model efficiency and reporting capabilities over time.
• Document capital management processes and procedures.
• Assist in quarterly RBC and S&P capital results validation and waterfall development.
• Develop roll-forward forecasts for capital levels across entities.
• Perform impact analysis of proposed capital charge changes.
• Support ORSA sensitivities and scenarios annually.
• Complete annual Group Capital Calculation and NAIC filing.
• Collaborate with partners to capture capital impacts of strategies (reinsurance, etc.).
• Provide support for board and IRC meetings.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
