Job summary

Healthpeak Properties, Inc. is seeking a Capital Reporting & Training Specialist to support reporting, training, and communication across the portfolio. The role focuses on capital spend, forecasts, and budget-variance reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 3–4 years in capital reporting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to leverage AI tools. Travel up to 15% is required, with opportunities to influence reporting processes and present to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Communications, or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in capital reporting, training, or communications.
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to leverage AI tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support reporting, training, and communication for capital projects across the portfolio.
• Prepare and maintain capital spend, forecast, and budget-variance reports.
• Partner with Finance and Property Management to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Identify trends, flag risks or budget concerns, and recommend improvements to reporting processes.
• Update capital forecasts for joint venture portfolios and communicate with JV partners.
• Design and deliver training on capital processes, systems, and reporting tools for internal teams and operators.
• Develop training materials and track training effectiveness, adjusting programs based on feedback.
• Prepare presentations and communication materials for leadership and key stakeholders.
• Support communication during portfolio emergencies, natural disasters, or other material events.
• Share best practices in reporting, training, and communication with peers across portfolios.
• Serve as the subject matter expert and help maintain capital-related policies and procedures across the portfolio.
• Support other administrative needs as required by the VP, Capital Asset Management

Role Overview

• Support reporting, training, and communication needs related to capital and tenant improvement projects across the portfolio
• Prepare and maintain regular capital spend, forecast, and budget-variance reports for the portfolio
• Partner with Finance and Property Management to ensure capital data is accurate and consistent
• Identify trends, flag risks or budget concerns, and recommend improvements to reporting processes
• Update capital forecasts for joint venture portfolios and communicate with JV partners
• Design and deliver training on capital processes, systems, and reporting tools for internal teams and operators

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Communications, or a related field preferred
• At least 3–4 years of experience in capital reporting, training, communications, or in a related real estate/facility management environment
• Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to leverage AI tools
• Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable presenting to and training groups of varying sizes, in person and virtually
• Travel as necessary, up to 15%
• Offering a salary of $80k - $95k plus generous cash incentives
