Job summary

Actalent in Cleveland, OH seeks a Project Engineer to lead capital equipment and manufacturing improvement projects from concept through production. You will manage budgets, schedules, and suppliers, optimize plant layouts, support new product launches, and coordinate across Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and external partners.

The role blends desk work with on-floor troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Strong project management experience with delivery of manufacturing projects.
  • CAPEX project experience from justification to implementation.
  • Experience optimizing plant layouts for flow and capacity.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capital equipment projects from concept to full production.
  • Develop budgets, schedules, milestones, risk registers and action plans.
  • Manage equipment suppliers, integrators, and contractors.
  • Assess equipment and process solutions to improve capacity and quality.
  • Coordinate projects across functions and external partners.
  • Troubleshoot on production floor to ensure successful implementation.
