Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning in Bourne, MA is seeking an Apprentice HVAC Technician to assist the lead technician with service, repair, and maintenance of residential systems in the Plymouth/Cape Cod area. The role provides hands-on training and the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in real jobs.

You will perform duties under supervision, learn safety practices, and develop diagnostic skills while earning hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and basic set of tools.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• HVAC trade experience desired.
• NATE certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Services, maintains, and repairs residential HVAC systems.
• Determines general condition of HVAC systems, can troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine extent of repairs.
• Keeps work area neat and inspects cleanliness after completion of each job.
• Demonstrates a safety-conscious attitude on the job and while driving.
• Wears floor savers in the client’s home.
• Maintains company vehicle, ensuring it is clean on both inside and outside.

Job Summary

This position will assist the HVAC Technician in service, repair, and maintenance on HVAC systems in a residential setting servicing the Plymouth/Cape Cod area. Apprentice techs will have the opportunity to put their education to the test and execute their hard work from the classroom.

Job Duties

• Services, maintains, and repairs residential l HVAC systems
• Determines general condition of HVAC systems, can troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions, and determine extent of necessary repairs
• Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
• Wears floor savers while in the client’s home
• Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside

Minimum Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and basic set of tools

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
