C.H. Robinson Worldwide in the United States is seeking a Capacity Portfolio Representative to blend inside sales, account management, and operations to grow and manage a carrier portfolio.

You will build relationships with carriers, negotiate capacity, use booking tools, monitor activity, and deliver exceptional service while supporting onboarding and training through a comprehensive program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience using customer perspective to guide decisions and actions.
• Persuade, motivate, influence, and negotiate with others.
• Strong decision-making, multi-tasking, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solutions-driven work using appropriate tools to evaluate and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain carrier relationships through lead generation, cold calling, and referrals.
• Learn about carriers’ goals and capabilities to maximize relationships and satisfaction.
• Monitor account activity and reactivate inactive or underutilized accounts.
• Leverage booking products and carrier tools to enhance efficiency and satisfaction.
• Support Capacity Procurement and pricing decisions.
• Analyze freight market trends and seasonality to inform pricing decisions.
• Use internal costing tools to guide buying and negotiating strategies.
• Proactively post and secure available capacity to meet customer needs.

Your mission will be to deliver exceptional service by collaborating with trucking company owners, dispatchers, and drivers, ensuring the right truck is matched with the right shipment at the perfect time and price. • Support Capacity Procurement

• Use capacity analysis and internal costing tools to guide your buying and negotiating strategies
• Proactively post, negotiate, and secure available capacity to meet customer needs
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service Provide outstanding service by addressing carrier issues promptly and implementing effective solutions Regularly review and act on carrier feedback to improve service Identify and recommend the best payment solutions for each carrier based on their needs Assist carriers with cash advances and resolve payable issues to ensure smooth operations Execute Process Efficiency Collaborate with internal teams on shipment updates, problem resolution, and operational execution Maintain accurate transit load visibility and reinforce on-time pickup and delivery expectations Identify root causes of issues and implement solutions to enhance performance

Compensation Range $25.48 - $31.25 The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by work location, which takes into account geographic cost of labor, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
