Job summary

Clorox is seeking a Capabilities Sr. Analyst to manage master data across ERP and supporting systems, ensuring data quality and policy compliance while supporting data governance initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Desktop office & ERP applications.
  • Experience with Master Data (e.g. customer structure in S4 & boundary applications, data requirements based on account groups, Sales Areas and the associated data requirements for various customer types).
  • Experience with or working knowledge of Customer, Sales relationships and related policies and business requirements.
  • Operations planning experience
  • Project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Execute customer, product, hierarchy, and other master data setup and maintenance activities within ERP and supporting systems.
  • Ensure data configurations accurately reflect approved policies, business rules, and governance standards.
  • Maintain data integrity across enterprise platforms and identify opportunities to improve data quality and consistency
  • Perform audits, validations, and reconciliation activities to proactively identify and resolve data issues.
  • Support governance controls related to data ownership, stewardship, and compliance.
  • Owner of current manual processes that support Policy execution in other systems (MAP, Unsaleables payments, DHL pricelists, Vendor/Customer contracts)
  • Partner with Manager, team members and business stakeholders to understand policy changes and translate requirements into executable data configurations.
  • Support testing and validation activities related to policy, process, and system changes.
  • Document data requirements, business rules, and configuration standards.
  • Assist in evaluating the downstream impacts of policy and data changes on business operations.
  • Participate in initiatives focused on improving data governance, operational processes, and enterprise execution.
  • Independently manage assigned workstreams, milestones and deliverables related to process enhancements and system changes.
  • Coordinate activities across business, technology, and operational stakeholders to support successful implementation of new capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve controls and enhance user experience with data use and/or data requests.
  • Support implementation of new ways of working, governance frameworks, and operating model improvements.
  • Investigate data-related issues and determine root causes.
  • Coordinate resolution efforts with business partners, system owners, and technology teams.
  • Escalate systemic issues and recommend sustainable corrective actions.
  • Monitor recurring exceptions and identify opportunities to improve process and controls.
  • Support enterprise data governance initiatives and stewardship activities.
  • Contribute to development of standards, procedures, and documentation.
  • Participate in governance forums and provide recommendations based on operational insights.
  • Assist in developing metrics and reporting related to data quality, process performance, and governance effectiveness.

Your role at Clorox:

The Capabilities Sr. Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate and sustainable system configurations across ERP and supporting platforms within the Customer Data Domain. This role translates business requirements, enterprise policies, and governance decisions into system configurations while ensuring customer and product pricing data is maintained in compliance with Sales and Enterprise Data standards. The Analyst also supports process improvements, implementations, and cross-functional initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, data quality, and business performance. Success in this role requires strong analytical, project coordination, and continuous improvement skills.

In this role, you will:
Enterprise Data Execution and Stewardship

Execute customer, product, hierarchy, and other master data setup and maintenance activities within ERP and supporting systems.

Business Rule Translation

Partner with Manager, team members and business stakeholders to understand policy changes and translate requirements into executable data configurations.

Support testing and validation activities related to policy, process, and system changes.

Assist in evaluating the downstream impacts of policy and data changes on business operations.

Process improvement & Project Execution

Participate in initiatives focused on improving data governance, operational processes, and enterprise execution.

Independently manage assigned workstreams, milestones and deliverables related to process enhancements and system changes.

Coordinate activities across business, technology, and operational stakeholders to support successful implementation of new capabilities.

Issue Resolution & Operational Support

Investigate data-related issues and determine root causes.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

Support enterprise data governance initiatives and stewardship activities.

Contribute to development of standards, procedures, and documentation.

Assist in developing metrics and reporting related to data quality, process performance, and governance effectiveness.

  • Zone B: $83,400 - $155,900
