Job summary

NSA seeks Capabilities Development Specialists (CDS) to join a team developing groundbreaking hardware and software tools for national security. You will work on high-priority offensive and defensive capabilities, including developing exploitation methods and malware analysis.

Candidates should have a CS/Engineering background with strong software or hardware design, development, testing or reverse engineering skills, and be prepared to upload transcripts during the application process.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
• Experiences in hardware or software lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance.
• Knowledge of computer forensics, vulnerability analysis, or penetration testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop exploitation capabilities and analytics for foreign target network collection.
• Design hardware components and systems to support signals intelligence missions.
• Analyze sophisticated malware and contribute to cutting-edge offensive and defensive capabilities.
