Job summary

National Security Agency (NSA) seeks Capabilities Development Specialists to advance offensive and defensive cyber capabilities for national security. Responsibilities include exploiting target systems, designing hardware and software solutions, and performing deep malware analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree must be in Computer Science (CS), Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with emphasis on algorithms, computer architecture and data structures.
• Relevant experience includes engineering hardware or software lifecycles, programming, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, or systems engineering.
• Military training such as JCAC can count toward experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop offensive and defensive capabilities for national security purposes.
• Design hardware components and systems to support signals intelligence missions.
• Analyze sophisticated malware and reverse engineer complex files.
