Job summary

Columbia River Catholic (CRC) is seeking a part-time accompanist to cover the Holy Redeemer Parish in Vancouver and the St. Thomas Aquinas campus in Camas. The cantor provides musical support for CRC liturgies, collaborating with the Music Director and staff.

Compensation ranges from $75 to $150 per hour, depending on events, experience and qualifications. This role requires a practicing Catholic with cantor experience and a high school diploma; payroll documentation is also required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as cantor for parish liturgies, including weekend Masses, Holy Days, weddings, funerals, and special events.
• Collaborates with the Pastoral Leader, Music Director, and staff in implementing the mission of the parish.
• Executes the music plan as set forth by the Music Director and ensures quality music for parish liturgies.
• Attends rehearsals as scheduled by the Music Director and implements the music plan.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Completes the documentation required for payroll.

Description

Columbia River Catholic (CRC) consists of the campuses of Holy Redeemer Parish (Vancouver), St. Thomas Aquinas Parish (Camas), and Our Lady Star of the Sea Mission (Stevenson). CRC is searching for a part-time accompanist to cover the Holy Redeemer and St. Thomas Aquinas campuses. The person in this role provides musical support for CRC on the St. Thomas Aquinas and Holy Redeemer campuses.

This is a part-time position. The hourly range for this position is $75/hr - $150/hr depending on events, experience and qualifications. Any offered compensation is determined based on internal equity, internal compensation ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
