District Photo Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for the Weekday-Day shift to run the Canon Prostream printing line in our Phoenix facility. The role emphasizes producing on-time, high-quality printed products with strict attention to color accuracy and defect-free output.

This position follows a Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm schedule with overtime during peak production periods. Strong teamwork, safety, and log-keeping practices are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Ability to communicate well and understand English
• Experience operating printing/machinery is a plus

Responsibilities

• Run the Canon Prostream Press Printing Machine for processing.
• Check equipment for acceptable quality production.
• Inspect produced orders for spots, dots, scratches, streaks, miss-registration, and color quality.
• Fill out required paperwork and log sheets accurately.
• Report quality or productivity concerns to Supervisor.
• Ensure orders are loaded and staged correctly and in date rotation by product type.
• Complete end of shift paperwork and housekeeping tasks.
• Review daily events with supervisor and implement improvements.
