Canning Line Operator – Early Shift – 3‑Day Weekends (4×12 Schedule)

Our 4×12 schedule is designed to give you more flexibility and balance while still earning full‑time hours and even double pay for hours over 50 per week!

Schedule: Early Shift (4×12s)

• Monday – Thursday: 2:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 3‑day weekends (Friday–Sunday)

Overtime may be required on Fridays or weekends (up to a maximum of 8‑hour shifts) based on production or sanitation needs – voluntary basis first.

What You’ll Do

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain high‑speed canning line equipment (filler, seamer, packaging, shrink wrapper).
• Monitor production to ensure efficiency, quality, and minimal downtime.
• Act with a strong sense of urgency to quickly address line or equipment faults and errors.
• Identify and elevate mechanical issues to Maintenance when needed.
• Follow all safety standards, GMPs, and sanitation practices.
• Support team operations through overtime when needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of machine operating and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Reliability, accountability, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Must operate with a high sense of urgency at all times. This role requires constant monitoring of equipment and immediate response to machine faults or slowdowns. Failure to act quickly can stop the entire canning line. Individuals who are not attentive, proactive, and fast‑moving in addressing issues will not be successful in this role. Preferred:

• Experience in food, beverage, bottling, canning, or other regulated/controlled working environments.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and quality standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift).
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, kneeling, climbing (stairs or platforms), and operating machinery.
• Talking, hearing, reaching above shoulders; using hands to finger, handle, grasp, pinch, or touch objects, controls, tools, or equipment.
