Job summary

Your Green Package in Natick, MA is hiring a Cannabis Transporter responsible for a daily route of deliveries between marijuana establishments. The role blends driving with superior customer service, coordinating with dispatch, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on every run.

You will join a team of transporters, dispatchers, and managers, with training at $15/hour and a transition to the standard hourly rate after successful completion.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or above
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License with minimum 3 years driving history
• Clean driving record
• Must pass a drug screen (THC not disqualifier)
• Flexible with varying work hours to cover transportation needs
• Excellent verbal communication and human relation skills
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and POS software
• Must complete role-specific training program
• Able to multitask and stay organized

JOB DESCRIPTION

At Your Green Package, the Cannabis Transporter is primarily responsible for a daily route of deliveries from marijuana establishments to other marijuana establishments. The Cannabis Transporter will coordinate with the dispatch team to make sure products are delivered in a timely manner. The Cannabis Transporter position is a hybrid role that combines driving a delivery vehicle and providing superior customer service all while working in a professional manner with our partnered marijuana establishments. The Cannabis Transporter reports directly to the Head of Delivery Operations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Follow YGP Policies & Procedures for daily operations and fully comply with state marijuana regulations
• Provide exceptional services on behalf of your designated dispensary
• Provide product delivery service from Marijuana establishments to other Marijuana establishments
• Ensures the safe transport of product, that manifests are complete with correct information, package quantities, dates, times, and mileage
• Follow assigned randomized routes and secure delivery services with signal checks as required during each route
• Model best-in-class service that consistently exceeds our customers' expectations and builds a long-term rapport
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of sensitive customers information
• Accurately receive, prepare, and complete customers' orders and sales utilizing point-of-sale
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is stocked, clean, and in proper operational order
• Work in close coordination with a team of other Cannabis Transporters, dispatchers, and managers
• Supports the teamwork effort in both starts of day and end of day procedures
• Act as a liaison between Marijuana establishment and YGP management to continually improve the customer experience
• Appropriately escalate customer conflict or complaint, inspiring long-term patient relationships and loyalty to our brand
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Age 21 or above (Required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required): Minimum driving history of 3 years
• Clean driving record (Required)
• Must be able to pass a drug screen (Required; THC is not a disqualifier)
• Ability to be flexible with varying work hours to cover all transportation needs
• Excellent verbal communication and human relation skills, with strong attention to detail
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, point of sale software, and debit terminal
• Must successfully complete a role-specific training program
• Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner
• Must be available to work weekends and applicable holidays
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Demonstrates high emotional intelligence
• Ability to effectively multi-task
• Must be highly organized and have extreme attention to detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Indoor and transportation (road-based) environments. Requires the ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods of time, and consistent attention to detail for 12 hours per day. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and perform weighing, counting, calculating, and computer processing operations.

Training & Compensation Disclosure

All new hires begin in a paid training period compensated at a designated training rate ($15/hour). The training rate applies only during the training period and is temporary. Transition to the standard hourly rate occurs only after successful completion of training and required approvals. The Company reserves the right to extend or conclude the training period based on operational needs, regulatory requirements, and individual performance.
