Job summary

Vireo Health in Minnesota is seeking a Production Technician to join our growing dynamic team. The Production Technician is responsible for trimming, curing, and packing cannabis flower.

This position reports directly to the Cultivation Manager. We offer a starting wage of $18.00/hr with competitive union benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Experience in cannabis industry preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
• Flexible availability (weekends may be required).
• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods.
• Must work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trimming from bucking wet harvests to packing flower for mass transport.
• Monitor drying rooms for optimal conditions and quality.
• Trim dried cannabis flowers by hand and with automated trimmer.
• Break down fresh cannabis flowers from stems and separate usable product from waste.
• Track usable and unusable waste per plant/batch via data system.
• Maintain clean processing areas and equipment at day’s end.
• Weigh and package cured flowers, trim and by-products for distribution.
• Support Cultivators with other duties around the site as directed.
• Demonstrate organizational, tracking, and communication skills; work independently or with a team.
