Job summary

Aeriz in Riverbank, CA is seeking a Processing Technician to trim cannabis flowers by hand or machine, ensuring a high quality final product and strict regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment. You will report to the Trimming Supervisor and work on-site at our Riverbank facility.

The role offers day and swing shifts, a competitive hourly rate, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Familiar with operating automated machinery preferred.
• Pass a Background Check.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of GMP and Lean Manufacturing principles are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cannabis for packaging and distribution to dispensaries.
• Log processing and trimming data on computer as needed.
• Understand different cannabis strains.
• Maintain high attention to detail.
• Keep a clean and organized work environment.
• Work effectively in a team or independently.
• Arrive on time with a positive, energetic attitude.
• Follow SOPs as set by management.
• Precisely trim, sift, and grind flower to preserve bud quality.
• Operate and monitor trimming machines when applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of trimmed product and waste.
• Inspect for mold, pests or contaminants and report issues.
• Weigh and track trimmed flower and waste per regulatory guidelines.
• Sanitize trimming tools and workstations between strains.
• Adhere to PPE requirements: gloves, coveralls, hairnets.
• Meet daily and weekly trimming quotas.
• Collaborate with teammates and suggest improvements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
