Job summary

Story Cannabis is seeking a Post-Harvest Associate to support the final stages of cultivation, trimming, curing, and preparing cannabis flower for packaging. The role emphasizes attention to detail, quality control, and compliance with safety and EPA/MSDS regulations.

Responsibilities include harvesting prep, hanging in dry room, sorting, de-stemming, labeling, equipment maintenance, and adherence to Harvest standards. Must be 21+, possess a valid ID, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
• Ability to work in an exceedingly fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage high stress, high urgency situations and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.
• Self-motivated, committed, and ambitious.
• General tool, hardware, ladder, and building skills; must use a 12’ extension ladder.
• Working safely in a warehouse setting.
• Remain compliant with legal or company regulations.
• Ability to communicate through email and phone.
• Reliable transportation.
• If necessary, ability to work 7 days per week and flexible scheduling.
• Computer skills and ability to learn new software programs.
• Experience in horticulture and/or agriculture is a bonus.
• Must be compliant with all regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
• Must possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks associated with the harvesting and finishing of cannabis plants in accordance with our standards.
• Hanging product in dry room on harvest day.
• Bucket and sort product based on Harvest standard guidelines.
• De-stem product per Harvest guidelines.
• Quality control assessment as product moves through the process.
• Redirect misallocated product and ensure proper labeling.
• Identify pests, mold, seeds, or other quality concerns.
• Assist with product handling and storage per Harvest standards.
• Maintain all equipment per SOPs.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure no product leaves the facility without authorization.
