Job summary

Ayr Wellness in Florida is seeking a Packaging Technician to ensure safe, accurate packaging and labeling of all cannabis products. Working within a team, you’ll uphold the integrity of our products from processing to customers and patients.

Responsibilities include accurate filling and labeling, following cGMP, meeting daily production goals, maintaining clean packaging areas and documentation, and coordinating with QA to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of packaging or cannabis industry experience preferred.
• Must pass background checks and obtain state-required badges.

Responsibilities

• Accurate filling, packaging and labeling of all products per company policies and product specs.
• Follow cGMP guidelines to ensure product safety and quality.
• Meet daily production schedule/goals as directed by Production Manager/Team Leads.
• Maintain cleanliness of packaging equipment and production areas; report contamination concerns.
• Document line inefficiencies and downtime; collaborate with peers to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with QA to ensure process parameters and quality testing meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of production and quality records and electronic reporting tools.
• Foster a positive work environment and uphold professional conduct.
