Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Nursery Technician to maintain the vegetation cycle of all sustainable plants within the facility in Las Vegas, NV. The role requires strict adherence to safety, GMP, and compliance regulations due to cannabis industry requirements.

Responsibilities include caring for plants in vegetative stages, transplanting, cloning, watering, pruning, and defoliation; ensuring production goals are met with high safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certifications preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or fast-paced environments.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• High focus and attention to detail.
• Willingness to perform additional tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Care for plants in vegetative state in mom, clone or veg rooms.
• Transplanting, cutting clones, watering, trimming, and pruning as needed.
• Identify growth patterns and notice anomalies in plants.
• Participate in all plant maintenance tasks as required by cultivation needs.
• Report issues to leadership to ensure timely fixes.
• Maintain cleanliness of flower rooms, benches, irrigation systems.
• Follow cultivation schedules and SOPs.
• Communicate openly with leadership and coworkers.
