Job summary

Mint Cannabis in Arcadia, FL is seeking a Quality Control Lead to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance across Florida facilities. You will oversee GMP adherence, supplier quality docs, and BioTrack reporting while supporting the Compliance team.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in cannabis QC, strong GMP knowledge, audit experience, and excellent attention to detail and communication. This on-site role supports Mint's growth as operations expand in Florida.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in quality control in a production/manufacturing environment, cannabis preferred.
• Strong understanding of GMP standards in manufacturing.
• Experience with state-run compliance audits.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Google Workspace and MS Office; familiarity with digital logs.
• Knowledge of Florida cannabis regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of production areas to evaluate GMP and SOP adherence.
• Identify quality issues and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with state cannabis regulations, GMP, and internal procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of reports, inspections, findings, and actions.
• Support audits with documentation preparation and follow-up.
• Monitor seed-to-sale systems, labeling, packaging, and testing.
• Train staff on quality protocols and best practices.
• Collaborate with processing, manufacturing, and compliance teams to address concerns.
• Communicate issues clearly to leadership and contribute to improvements.
