Job summary

Justice Cannabis is seeking a Fertigation Technician to work with the Cultivation Manager and supervisors to oversee irrigation and fertigation across cultivation. This role may also involve hands-on work in the garden with Cultivation Technicians to support the irrigation plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in cannabis industry is desirable, but not required.
• Ability to prioritize safety practices and follow standard operating procedures.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses plants nutritional needs.
• Adheres to cultivation schedule set by the Cultivation Manager.
• Monitors soil moisture content and collects water samples for testing.
• Checks and balances EC & PH of stock tanks according to SOPs.
• Performs day-to-day plant hand watering.
• Works closely with the grow team to implement and maintain the irrigation/fertigation plan.
• Maintains sanitation standards in cultivation/grow rooms.
• Performs calibration of nutrient testing instruments.
• Cleans and sanitizes nutrient tanks, pumps, and filters as needed.
• Measures and mixes nutrients and plant applications and applies them per policy.
• Follows safety practices with fertigation equipment and environmental controls.
• Completes preventative maintenance and assists with repairs.
• Complies with product label safety procedures and uses PPE.
• Able to work variable shifts to meet business needs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
