Job summary

Jushi Holdings Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Technician to support plant-wide safety and sanitation programs across the facility.

The role involves maintaining a hygienic environment for the facility, equipment, buildings, and grounds, with emphasis on GMP requirements and proper chemical handling. Responsibilities include cleaning Grow Rooms after harvesting cannabis plants, following safety protocols, and maintaining cleaning logs.

Qualifications

• High School education.
• Experience in sanitation in a regulated industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of health sanitation requirements is an asset.
• Willing to work weekends/evenings as needed.
• Willingness to learn and physically capable.
• Familiarity with GMP/GPP is an asset.
• Must wear PPE in GMP/GPP areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe working practices including chemical handling, PPE, and OSHA requirements.
• Performs facility cleaning per GMP requirements.
• Keeps equipment and areas clean and debris-free.
• Sweeps and mops floors and places safety signs as required.
• Cleans washrooms, breakrooms, and offices; handles trash.
• Cleans individual equipment parts as required.
• Cleans Grow Rooms after harvesting cannabis plants.
• Understands operation of sanitation equipment and solutions.
• Notifies manager for major repairs on equipment/process rooms.
• Follows safety protocols including lockout-tagout and PPE.
• Empties trash and manages liners.
• Manages Sanitation Storage Room; stocks in proper areas.
• Relays stock needs to manager and maintains cleaning logs.
• Performs other duties as required.
