Job summary

JARS Cannabis in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Extraction Packaging Associate to weigh, label, and package cannabis products in compliance with SOPs and state regulations. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, paying close attention to detail and meeting daily packaging targets.

Responsibilities include quality control, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting with setup and troubleshooting of packaging equipment.

Qualifications

High attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work repetitively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork.
Basic math and ability to use scales.
Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
Flexible to shift changes.
Understanding of hygiene and product handling.

Responsibilities

Weigh, fill, seal, and label cannabis products according to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Perform quality control checks on weight, appearance, and labeling.
Maintain a clean, organized work area to uphold safety and cleanliness.
Accurately complete personal production numbers.
Comply with safety protocols, PPE, and sanitation procedures.
Assist with setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of packaging equipment.
Support team to meet daily packaging targets.
Notify supervisor of inconsistencies, quality issues, or equipment malfunctions.
Follow all state and company regulations regarding cannabis handling.
Perform other duties as assigned by Packaging Manager or Lead.
