Job summary

Vireo Health is seeking an energetic Laboratory Technician - Extraction Focused to join our growing team in Minnesota. The ideal candidate will support producing cannabis-based medicines under the Laboratory Manager and work with a collaborative, safety-minded team.

The role offers a Monday–Friday 7am-3pm schedule with a pay rate of $19.92 per hour, competitive union benefits, and opportunities to grow in a fast-paced, innovative company that values science, quality, and patient care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred and 3+ years of experience in chemical processing and equipment use.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to lift 50 pounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in medical cannabis industry.
• Attention to detail; able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform stripping, grinding, decarboxylation of cannabis materials.
• Perform CO2 extraction of cannabis materials.
• Perform de-waxing and concentrations of cannabis extracts.
• Perform dry sift and solventless extraction processes.
• Keep organized records of procedures and results.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Keep a detailed laboratory log of tasks and results.
• Attend safety meetings and perform weekly checks of safety equipment.
• Provide feedback to improve process quality and efficiency.
