Job summary

Ayr Wellness in Virginia is seeking a dedicated Dispensary Pharmacy Technician to work closely with Pharmacists and provide exceptional patient care for medical marijuana products. Under supervision, you’ll assist with prescriptions, patient identification, and data entry while maintaining strict compliance and accurate record-keeping.

The role requires an active State Pharmacy Technician license, a minimum of one year of experience, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Hold an active State Pharmacy Technician license.
• At least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve problems in the prescription fulfillment process.
• Assist Pharmacist in filling prescriptions and labeling items.
• Input patient data into POS system and state databases.
• Maintain patient records, product tracking, and inventory control.
• Provide high level customer service in a retail dispensary.
