Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is seeking a Nursery Technician to maintain the vegetation cycle of all sustainable plants in the facility. The role emphasizes safety and compliance in a heavily regulated cannabis environment.

You will care for plants in vegetative stages across mom, clone, and veg rooms, performing tasks like transplanting, watering, pruning, and defoliation, while recognizing strain requirements and reporting issues to leadership to ensure timely fixes and quality results.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certifications preferred.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or fast-paced environment is desirable.
• High focus and attention to detail is essential.
• Prior cannabis industry experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Care for plants in the vegetative state (mom, clone, or veg room).
• Transplanting, cutting clones, watering, trimming, bottoming, topping, pruning, and defoliating as needed.
• Recognize strain requirements and growth patterns; identify anomalies in plants.
• Participate in all aspects of plant maintenance based on cultivation needs.
• Report issues to leadership for timely fixes; maintain safety and quality.
