Job summary

The Cannabist Company, formerly Columbia Care, is seeking a Cultivation Technician in Lowell, MA to oversee cannabis plant care across growth stages, maintain records in the company software, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves hands-on cultivation tasks in a high-activity grow environment.

Compensation includes $18.00/hr plus benefits; candidate should be capable of standing for long periods, handling heavy tasks up to 50 pounds, and adhering to strict sanitation

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of medical and recreational cannabis industry.
• Working knowledge of general plant physiology; cannabis-specific knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to perform manual labor in hot humid conditions and on concrete for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate cannabis plants through germination, propagation, vegetative, flowering and harvest.
• Maintain accurate records in the software tracking system to ensure compliance.
• Clean and sterilize cultivation equipment and grow rooms; manage storage areas.
