Renew Cannabis Co. is seeking a Full-Time Cultivation Technician to support cultivation operations at our Massachusetts facility. You will perform cloning, transplanting, watering, pruning, trellising, and defoliation while monitoring environmental conditions and plant health.

Strict adherence to regulatory standards and quality controls is required. The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping in METRC and internal systems, teamwork, and flexibility across departments to meet production needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Cultivation Technician is a versatile and hands-on position responsible for maintaining and caring for cannabis plants at multiple stages. Main tasks include, but are not limited to watering, plant maintenance, up-potting, scouting, spraying, environmental monitoring and control, cloning and more. This role is designed for candidates who are adaptable, reliable, and thrive in a collaborative environment. The technician will ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while maintaining the highest levels of product quality, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Include

Cultivation Operations:

• Perform tasks such as cloning, transplanting, watering, pruning, trellising, and defoliation.
• Monitor plant health and environmental conditions, making necessary adjustments as directed.
• Maintain accurate cultivation records, labels, and inventory in METRC and internal tracking systems.

Compliance & Sanitation

• Follow all company SOPs and maintain compliance with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces throughout the facility.
• Document daily tasks, product weights, and activities for quality assurance and regulatory reporting.

Team Collaboration

• Participate in cross-training and rotate between departments based on business needs.
• Support a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
• Communicate proactively with supervisors and coworkers to improve processes.

WHAT YOU'LL bRING:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in cannabis, agriculture, or manufacturing preferred but not required.

Regulatory Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass all background checks required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC).
• Must obtain and maintain an active Cannabis Agent Registration Card issued by the CCC.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for prolonged periods.
• Repetitive use of hands and arms; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Tolerance for working in environments with high-intensity lighting, fluctuating temperatures, and background noise from equipment.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to cannabis particulates including dust, kief, and strong odors.
• Work conducted in cultivation, processing, and packaging environments with temperature and humidity variation.

Schedule

• Full-Time hours for this role are 7:00am - 4:00pm, and we have various weekly schedules based on availability and business need:
• A schedule: Sunday through Thursday,
• B schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
• C schedule: Monday through Friday

Salary: $19 - $19 per hour
