Job summary

Ayr Wellness is seeking a Cultivation Lead to supervise the cultivation team at a large commercial facility in Virginia. You will oversee daily tasks from feeding to defoliation, manage inspections, and ensure SOP compliance while coordinating with the Cultivation Manager and Director.

This role requires 1–3 years in horticulture or cannabis and readiness for night or weekend shifts. The position offers growth opportunities within a growing cannabis operator and a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Age and background checks as required by state cannabis agencies.
• Valid badging/credentials required by state cannabis agencies.
• 1–3 years of horticulture/agriculture or cannabis industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and close designated grow zones per SOPs.
• Inspect plants for health, pests, or stress and address issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of cultivation activities.
• Assist in rotating strains to ensure supply for dispensaries.
• Monitor environmental controls (temp, humidity, CO2, light).
• Ensure a clean, organized work environment and proper equipment use.
