The Dog Stop South Hills is seeking a Canine Handler where your passion for dogs meets a rewarding career. You will provide exceptional care and attention to our furry guests, ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Join our South Hills team to supervise playgroups, assist with feeding and basic grooming, and help maintain a clean, safe facility for all dogs in a lively Pittsburgh setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in animal care or dog handling preferred.
• Knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification for pets is a bonus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups to ensure safety and socialization.
• Administer feeding, medication, and basic grooming as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility and play areas.
• Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance handling skills and knowledge.
