Job summary

Countryside Pet Resort in Andover, KS is seeking a dependable Dog Daycare Attendant who enjoys caring for dogs and staying active outdoors. You’ll supervise dogs during daycare and group play, help keep guests safe and comfortable, and follow feeding and care instructions.

The role requires good communication with clients and coworkers, a willingness to work weekends or holidays, and a readiness to perform cleaning and sanitation tasks across play areas and kennels.

Schedule: Part-time or full-time; includes some weekends and holidays

Countryside Pet Clinic and Resort is looking for a dependable, caring Dog Daycare Attendant to help keep our guests safe, happy, and well cared for. This is an active, hands-on job for someone who enjoys working with dogs and doesn’t mind cleaning up after them.

What you’ll do:

Supervise dogs during daycare and group play, keeping their safety and comfort a priority.

Watch for changes in behavior, stress, or signs that a dog needs a break, and share concerns with the team.

Follow feeding, medication, and care instructions for dogs staying at the resort.

Clean and disinfect play areas, kennels, bowls, and other pet-care spaces.

Provide fresh water and help maintain a clean, organized environment.

Communicate respectfully with clients and coworkers during drop-off and pickup.

Follow resort procedures and report injuries, incidents, or other concerns promptly.

What we’re looking for:

A responsible, reliable person who enjoys caring for dogs.

Comfort working around dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Willingness to stay active, work outdoors in different weather, and handle cleaning tasks.

Previous animal-care experience is helpful but not required; we’re willing to train the right person.
