Job summary

Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding and spa services, has an immediate opening for a Canine Coach. This role emphasizes safety and fun for dogs, with training that may allow you to bring your own dog to work after completion.

You will work in a collaborative team to care for dogs and ensure an engaging experience forPet Parents. Pay starts at $15.50–$16.50 per hour with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• You love dogs and would love to care for them all day.
• Physically able to handle dogs of all sizes.
• You produce high quality work and want to know exactly what is expected of you.
• Minimum of 3 days a week (5 hour shifts) throughout training process.
• Prior dog experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and fun play environment for each pup.
• Supervise groups of dogs and monitor activity/behavior.
• Learn and understand how to handle and react to dogs and their behavior.
• Daily cleaning tasks including play area maintenance and kennels.
• Provide overall care and excellent customer service to clients.
• Interact with dogs and be on stage, with cameras in rooms.
