Job summary

Legacy Franchise Concepts, LP is hiring a Canine Coach at Dogtopia in Lake Oswego, OR. You will help supervise playgroups, keep areas clean, and ensure a safe, fun environment for dogs of all breeds. Training is provided and you may bring your own dog after training completion.

Starting pay is $16.80 per hour with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, pet-loving team. This role emphasizes hands-on dog care, teamwork, and customer service in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Must love dogs.
• Ability to stand up to 100% of shift.
• Flexible days and hours including holidays and weekends.
• Cohesive teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of large groups of dogs.
• Keep playrooms clean and mess-free.
• Clean as mop, sweep, trash, and water refills.
• Ensure dogs are in a clean and safe environment.
• Perform meal prep with little guidance.
• Store daycare and boarding belongings with proper labeling.
• Bathe and nail clip as needed (training provided).
• Identify dog breeds and behaviors.
• Report dog scuffles for safe wound cleaning.
• Collaborate with the team to uphold standards of care.
• Care for all dogs as if part of the family.
• Engage, play, and enjoy the furry friends.

What you'll do
